Thomas (Denny) D. Taff

Corporate Director Of Security

Thomas Taff, known as “Denny,” is the Corporate Director of Security for LHM and is charged with developing and implementing loss prevention and safety plans and procedures to minimize guest and employee injuries and losses. Taff also monitors the security and life safety practices at all LHM properties.

Taff started his career in the St. Louis Police force, rising through the ranks to Commander of the Traffic/Safety Division. He served as a detective in the Intelligence Division and later as an undercover agent specializing in violent crime and narcotics. He was honored with five commendations and awards during his vocation as a police officer.

Taff brought his security skills to the hospitality industry, and was appointed Director of Security for the Stouffer’s Riverfront Towers. His abilities were recognized when he was named Regional Security Consultant for AIRCOA (owners of a national chain of hotels). Taff also worked for the Marriott Pavilion Hotel as Director of Loss Prevention and was promoted to a regional position over all Marriott Hotels in St. Louis.
